| Abstract: | Caecognathia robusta and C. abyssorum were found during BIOICE programme associated with several species of semosponges from Denmark Strait and around Iceland. C. robusta is mainly cold water species, C. abyssorum Atlantic, overlapping in Denmark Strait. Both have adapted easily to living in cavities; sex ratio seems to be determined by cavity volume. Both are primarily monogamous, with indications of continuous reproduction. |
