Abstract: Issue: Nanortalik's 200 years. Some signs of gold are in many parts of Greenland. 1992 find of Nalunaq deposit by Nunaoil was exceptional, but public perception was more enthusiastic than that of professionals. It followed panning in streams by municipality from 1985. In 1993 2950 m were bored, among 13 holes. One found 23.4 gm/ton; in 1994 one hole had 113 gm/ton. More was planned for 1998.
