Abstract: Asummiut then and now: Dig started in 1995. More was found than expected, so airstrip road was taken on detour to allow continued digging. Four sites are described. Different types of stone used in implements are plotted for these sites, and several knives, harpoon and arrow tips, scrapers and flints for fires are illustrated, besides children's toys and first harpoons, and wooden beads.
