Abstract: Article summarises current Norwegian attitudes to Christianity, in secularised society. Revivals and pietism have made religion individual and internal, which means in many cases form of nature worship. School system is described and its two streams (merging in 1997) of Christian Knowledge, for members of Church of Norway, and Other Religious and Moral Education, for others (not so welcome to Muslims etc). Aims and subject matter are summarised. Teaching methods are intended to exploit local community and its bodies as resources for live narrative.
