Record #143869:

Abundance, diversity and community patterns of epibenthic and benthic boundary layer peracarid crustaceans at 75 deg. N off East Greenland / Angelika Brandt.

Title: Abundance, diversity and community patterns of epibenthic and benthic boundary layer peracarid crustaceans at 75 deg. N off East Greenland / Angelika Brandt.
Author(s): Brandt, Angelika.
Date: 1997.
In: Polar Biology. (1997.), Vol. 17(2) (1997)
Abstract: During voyage of RV Polarstern in 1994, vertical and horizontal transects gave 18 samples with epibenthic sledge. 14 784 individual crustaceans were caught, besides 2 425 at 500 m at 79 deg. N. Isopoda was commonest taxon. Largest sample was at 1 525 m, but at 2 680 m number of peracarids was still much higher than at shallower stations. Possible reasons are offered.
