Abstract: Describes samples of fossil Araucarioxylon collected on South Georgia by Shackleton's 1921-22 Quest Antarctic expedition. Specimens from erratic volcanic ash beach pebble are considered to be not older than Carboniferous and not younger than Jurassic in age.
