Abstract: Presents first detailed descriptions of male plants of Cyrtomnium hymenophylloides. Male plants found in nine herbarium specimens from parts of northeastern Alaska and Arctic Canada that may have served as refugia during Wisconsinan ice-sheet maximum. Female plants are found more widely through Arctic and at altitudes in Rockies.
