| Abstract: | 484 samples of sediments and biota collected in 1994 and 1995, representing mussels, fish, birds and seals were analysed. Chemicals sought were PCB's, HCB, HCH's, Dieldrin, DDT's, chlordanes, toxaphanes and PAH's. Levels were in general low, but those in seals and birds exceeded Swedish and Danish maximum limits for human consumption. |
