Abstract: | Paper addresses question: are income transfers distributed on equal terms to regions of Greenland? "Regional policy" used to mean support for increasing economic activity, as for establishing and supporting fish processing in small settlements, or investing in infrastructure and transport facilities for Greenland fur company. Now phrase is wider and has geographical dimension, whether intended or unintended. Types of transfer are described, Greenland's macro regions are delimited, and transfers are tabulated from several viewpoints. Highest transfer is in southern Greenland, lowest in east. |
