Introductory part of book includes two articles, first providing theoretical discussion on distinctive character of this form of social will from other forms such as taboos, morals and etiquette. Second article provides ethnographic and historiographic introduction. Main part of monograph consists of 26 documents on customary law of Siberian peoples together with notes and glossary.
