| Abstract: | VHF radar measurements with high temporal and vertical resolution were carried out in northern Norway in the summer of 1987 to study structure of Polar mesospheric summer echoes and dynamic processes involved. Results reveal non-linear interactions in gravity wave period range. Iso-lines of conserved quantities deduced from velocity field strongly resemble simultaneous echo power variations. |
