White, R. G.
Mathiesen, S. D.
Date: 1997.
In: Rangifer. (1997.), Vol. 17(2) (1997)
Abstract: Microbial fermentation end products were investigated in Svalbard reindeer at two different locations at different seasons. pH, volatile fatty acid (VFA) concentration and acetate/propionate ratio were compared. Concentration and rate of VFA production were related to diet.
Notes:

Rangifer. Vol. 17(2) :81-95 (1997).

Keywords: 591.13 -- Animal digestion and inanition.
599.735.3 -- Cervidae: Rangifer tarandus platyrhynchus.
