Abstract: Systematic and general account of birds based on E.A. Wilson's field notes, sketches and specimens collected during Scott's 1910-13 Terra Nova Antarctic expedition. Includes penguins, terns, skuas, petrels, shearwaters, fulmars, mollymauks, albatrosses etc. from New Zealand, Antarctic and sub-Antarctic areas, and gives detailed comparison with specimens in British Museum of Natural History, and museums in Edinburgh, Tring and Paris with discussion regarding possible sub-species and geographical distribution.
