| Abstract: | In some Saami languages there are two parallel series of imperative forms, though one form is absent in some persons, or in negative expressions. Spoken language can add layer of meaning through intonation. Another use of imperative is in conditional sentences or in warnings, threats or wishes. Use of 3rd person imperative is described. |
