| Abstract: | Identifies two valley drift complexes in Plotnikova Valley, west of Petropavlovsk. Describes these and correlates with glaciofluvial terraces. Suggests that both moraines indicate Late Pleistocene glaciation. Also identifies evidence of glacial advance during middle Holocene (neoglacial), and lichenometric results characteristic of "Little Ice Age" snow and ice accumulations. |
