| Abstract: | Nested version of Princeton Ocean Model was set up and evaluated for whole Barents Sea, compared to existing data. Main features of surface circulation, position of main water masses and winter results were well reproduced, but some water characteristics were wrong and fields were too smooth. Model could not reproduce 0-group concentrations of polar cod west of Spitsbergen. |
