Abstract: INSROP Sub-Programme: Trade and Commercial Shipping Aspects. Compares ship-operating and container shipping expenses between model nuclear icebreaking ship sailing through Northern Sea Route with high-speed diesel passing through Suez canal, and between model nuclear icebreaking ship and conventional diesel vessel both sailing through NSR. Determines kinds of cargo that could be carried economically by using nuclear icebreaking container ship sailing through NSR.
