Ice environment and ship hull loading along the NSR / Mikko Lensu, Stephanie Heale, Kaj Riska, Pentti Kujala.

Title: Ice environment and ship hull loading along the NSR / Mikko Lensu, Stephanie Heale, Kaj Riska, Pentti Kujala.
Author(s): Lensu, Mikko.
Heale, Stephanie.
Riska, Kaj.
Kujala, Pentti.
Date: 1996.
In: INSROP Working Paper. (1996.), Vol. 66 (1996)
Abstract: Aims to combine existing knowledge on ice conditions with methods of calculating transit parameters and damage probabilities of ice-going ships along NSR. Hull damage risk calculations are based on Baltic ice conditions, which do not include multi-year ice. Sub-programme I. Natural conditions and ice navigation. Project I.1.10. Ice environment and ship hull loading along the NSR.
