Record #141192:

Possible role of dust-induced regional warming in abrupt climate change during the last glacial period / Jonathan T. Overpeck, David Rind, Andrew Lacis, Richard Healy.

Title: Possible role of dust-induced regional warming in abrupt climate change during the last glacial period / Jonathan T. Overpeck, David Rind, Andrew Lacis, Richard Healy.
Author(s): Overpeck, Jonathan T.
Rind, David.
Lacis, Andrew.
Healy, Richard.
Date: 1996.
In: Nature. (1996.), Vol. 384 (1996)
Abstract: Three-dimensional climate simulations suggest high glacial dust loading may have caused significant, episodic regional warming downwind of Asian and ice-margin dust sources. Dust-induced warming may have contributed to triggering large shifts in Pleistocene climate associated with Dansgaard-Oeschger and Heinrich climate events.
Notes:

Nature. Vol. 384 :447-449 (1996).
