| Abstract: | Sea is not included in cooperation because of disputed zones, yet cooperation is perhaps most developed there. Chapter describes characteristics of of fisheries, their regional aspects and changes in ownership and control of fish processors. Comparative analysis of systems and society of northern Norway and Murmansk are presented. Politics and their driving myths are considered and reasons found why Pomor historical parallel was used rather than Saami or Socialist one. |
