Record #140879:

Neoglacial changes of ice cover and sea level in Greenland - a classic enigma / Anker Weidick.

Title: Neoglacial changes of ice cover and sea level in Greenland - a classic enigma / Anker Weidick.
Author(s): Weidick, Anker.
Date: 1996.
Publisher: Copenhagen: Danish Polar Center
In: Paleo-Eskimo Cultures of Greenland - new perspectives in Greenlandic archaeology. (1996.), Vol. 21
Abstract: In last 4000 years, cooling has caused buildup of ice cover of Greenland, especially at margin of Inland Ice. Maximum advance was 100-150 years ago, followed by recession up to 1950s. Result has been increase in height of relative sea level isostatically. Dating and correlation of changes can only be scattered, as datable deposits are under sea or ice. General conclusions are nevertheless drawn.
