| Abstract: | Group measured escarpments and littoral plains of hills south of Bellsund, especially near Recherchefjord and in marginal zones of Renard, Scott, Recherche and Antonina Glaciers. Article describes basis of local geology and marine deposits additional to original glacial ones. Considerable chemical changes are seen and erosion takes several forms - solifluction, temperature changes, water, wind and snow all have effects. Pingos and palsas are found. |
