Record #140712:

Temperate ice permeability, stability of water veins and percolation of internal meltwater / Louis A. Lliboutry.

Title: Temperate ice permeability, stability of water veins and percolation of internal meltwater / Louis A. Lliboutry.
Author(s): Lliboutry, Louis A.,
Date: 1996.
In: Journal of Glaciology. (1996.), Vol. 42(141) (1996)
Abstract: Considers the theory of percolation of meltwater in glacier ice, with mathematical derivation of ice/water interfaces at grain boundaries. These grains are modelled as equal tetrakaidecahedra, and effects of temperature and pressure are discussed.
