Abstract: Precipitation is highest in warmest parts and lowest in coldest. Highest variability of mean temperature occurs over Svalbard Archipelago and lowest on east coast of Greenland and north of Siberia. Behaviour of temperature and precipitation over last decades is not consistent with results of climate models.
