Rola pogód przejściowych (przymrozkowo-odwilźowych) w kształtowaniu klimatu subpolarnego morskiego / Jacek Ferdynus.

Title: Rola pogód przejściowych (przymrozkowo-odwilźowych) w kształtowaniu klimatu subpolarnego morskiego / Jacek Ferdynus.
Translated title: Function of transitional (frosty, thaw) weathers in forming characteristics of sub-Polar sea climate.
Author(s): Ferdynus, Jacek.
Date: 1996.
Publisher: Torun: Committee on Polar Research Polish Academy of Sciences
Language: Polish.
In: Problemy Klimatologii Polarnej. (1996.), Vol. 5 (1996)
Abstract: Bear Island and Isfjord Radio are representatives of the sub-Polar marine climate, as shown by warmest month temperature below 10°C and high oceanicity index. At both stations transitional weather can be seen during year. Mean temperature is higher or lower than 0°C, minimum below and maximum above it. Dislocations of weather fronts and advection of air masses permit temeratures to pass freezing level. Atlantic is particularly disposed to such weather because of intensive cyclonic activity.
