Abstract: Settlement ten hours' ride from Ammassalik, its catechist and his shaman wife are described, and hope of Tirolean Robert Peroni is to keep it viable. Time in that part of world is described as "before" or "after Greenpeace", who brought such disaster to sealers in 1977. Tedium and temptations of town are described. Author was there at time of annual visit of "Anders Olsen" and comments on its cargo.
