Abstract: Defines 11 Middle-Upper Carboniferous and 12 Lower Permian conodont assemblage zones and subzones from 21 sampled sections in Novaya Zemlya and from three wells in Pechora Sea Shelf. 104 conodont taxa recognized. Analaysis of distribution of these results in recognition of 23 local conodont zones and subzones, most of which are assemblage zones.
