| Abstract: | Some salmon confine whole lives to lakes and rivers, hatched in inlets or outlets and spending adulthood in lakes. "Bleg" is one variety and another large variety lives in Vänern in Sweden. Even in sea-going versions, hens are only ones that always go to sea. Energy factor and competition with own species, char and trout are discussed with reference to seagoing, and to lake-going. |
