| Abstract: | Part one deals with investigations of structure of lithosphere and results of using geophysical methods to study geological structures within limits of oil and gas deposits of Siberia. Second part examines various aspects of studying seismicity, forecasting earthquakes, and use of new technologies such as satellite geodesy. Third part focuses on practical applications of geophysical studies to assess intensity of earthquakes, predict possible threat to industry, and to study in detail physical and deformational properties of ground. Mostly southern Siberia, Siberian Platform, and Baykal region. |
