Abstract: Study's objectives include quantification of mosquito and oestrid fly abundance on gravel pads and adjacent undisturbed tundra; determination of microclimatic effects of ambient temperature, wind direction and velocity, and relative humidity on gravel pads and adjacent undisturbed tundra; and relation of mosquito and oestrid fly abundance to differential microclimatic conditions.
