In: Late Quaternary palaeoceanography of the North Atlantic Margins. (1996.),
Abstract: High-resolution stable oxygen and carbon isotope and sedimentological investigations were carried out on four west-east profiles at East Greenland continental margin between 68° and 75° N. Cores represent distinct glacial/interglacial palaeoclimatic episodes over past 190 ka. Data correlate well with global climate record, but some variations suggest local/regional overprint by meltwater from Greenland ice sheet. Variations in ice-rafted debris indicate repeated fluctuations of ice sheet. Late Weichselian oscillations appear to be in phase with those in Barents Sea area.
