| Abstract: | Early Tertiary extrusion of flood basalts in East Greenland was accompanied by intrusion of numerous sills in Upper Palaeozoic and Mesozoic sediments of rift zone. Lavas and sills mostly have low contents of Ti and other incompatible elements, linking them to those north of Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord rather than with Scoresby Sund lavas. Two sills are described in greater detail. |
