A phytogeographical study of the vascular plants of West Greenland (62°20′ - 74°N) / Bent Fredskild.

Title: A phytogeographical study of the vascular plants of West Greenland (62°20′ - 74°N) / Bent Fredskild.
Author(s): Fredskild, Bent.
Date: 1996.
In: Meddelelser om Grønland. Bioscience. (1996.), Vol. 45 (1996)
Abstract: Phytogeographically and climatically West Greenland includes parts of low and high Arctic. Present vegetation and summary of its history since last glaciation based on pollen and macrofossil analyses are briefly described. Determination of more than 55 000 herbarium sheets of native phanerogams was checked. Criteria used in deciding level to treat difficult genera are given. Dot maps were made for 379 taxa, grouped into 11 distribution types which clearly correlate with T.Böcher's (1963)
