Record #140150:

Suspended sediment transport in the Storglaciären drainage basin / Thomas Schneider, Christian Bronge.

Title: Suspended sediment transport in the Storglaciären drainage basin / Thomas Schneider, Christian Bronge.
Author(s): Schneider, Thomas.
Bronge, Christian.
Date: 1996.
In: Geografiska Annaler. Series A. Physical Geography. (1996.), Vol. 78A(2-3) (1996)
Abstract: Article gives figures and deduces annual erosion of 0.7 mm, increasing to 0.9-1.3 mm when bedload is added. Transport in proglacial stream has time lag between peaks in concentration and peaks in water discharge on all three scales: diurnal, seasonal and annual. Linear regression of log of concentration yields good results, but underestimates real suspended load.
