| Abstract: | Authors sum up knowledge of effects on fish and fisheries of air- cannon firing. This comprises effects on behaviour and what it can imply for ease of catching with different equipment and for spawning and migration to spawning grounds. It also concerns direct and indirect lethal effects on fry and larva that may be affected in worst and in most likely cases, with calculation of death rate on population level. Total consequences for fish and fish resources are then estimated. |
