| Abstract: | Pollen datings were made at Uppsala University on Carex and Empetrum tissue. Contrary to previous concepts, vegetational development is interpreted as having started in Pre-boreal chronozone. Significance of this new concept for floral history of eastern Finland is elucidated. |
