In: | Aquilo. Series Zoologica. (1996.), Vol. 29 (1996) |
Abstract: | Paper analyses taxonomic relationships and sexual size dimorphism of deer using cranial measurements of 317 skulls from seven samples in Fennoscandia and northern Russia. 17 characters were used for univariate analyses and 16 for multivariate approach. Results show connections are not necessarily closest among neigbouring populations. Migration may have spread one type long way northwards during postglacial warm periods. |
