| Abstract: | Recent remapping and new age determinations have shed lighet on understanding of Precambrian rocks north-west of Hornsund. Recent observations show that granitic-gabbroic rocks in Skålfjellet Subgroup are exotic blocks in basic eruptive rocks, not products of granitisation. Plutonic rocks have wide range of compositions, which suggest well-differentiated plutonic body at depth. No good isochron was obtained for shaly phyllites from Deilegga Group. |
