Title: Hvordan påvirkes plantene av reinbeiting? / Kari Anne Bråthen, Christina Wegener.
Translated title: How are plants affected by reindeer grazing?.
Author(s): Bråthen, Kari Anne.
Wegener, Christina.
Date: 1996.
Language: Norwegian.
In: Ottar. (1996.), Vol. 3 (1996)
Abstract: Some plants, such as grasses and orchids, need open spaces for good growth. Others actually benefit from being themselves grazed, as light can reach deeper in and roots per shoot increase. Some plants depend on taste or poison to protect themselves from many animals, but reindeer's internal flora can sometimes digest these.
