Date: 1996.
In: Polar Research. (1996.), Vol. 15(1) (1996)
Abstract: Breeding biology, nestling growth and development, and biometry of little suk were studied - total of 103 adults. Development of 16 chicks was compared with that of Svalbard chicks. Both adults and nestlings are larger than those of Svalbard. In Franz Josef Land breeding season is more extended. Majority nest on steep rocky cliffs, possibly because of climate and mammal predation. Gulls were not serious predators.
