Abstract: | Authors have studied lifetime reproductive success of Arctic foxes that have successfully emigrated, travelled and settled. Some settled near natal site and some dispersed long-range. No sex bias was found. Immigrant females had higher reproductive success than residents. Competition for resources was strongest supported hypothesis. |
