Record #139000:

Extraction of winter total sea-ice concentration in the Greenland and Barents Seas from SSM/I data / D.M. Smith.

Title: Extraction of winter total sea-ice concentration in the Greenland and Barents Seas from SSM/I data / D.M. Smith.
Author(s): Smith, D. M.,
Date: 1996.
In: International Journal of Remote Sensing. (1996.), Vol. 17(13) (1996)
Abstract: The Bootstrap and NASA team algorithms are compared using 10 cloud-free AVHRR images. Significantly different sea ice concentrations are estimated from each, so the Bristl algorithm is proposed to overcome these problems, and it outperforned the previous models.
