Abstract: Presents results of assessments of status of trace elements (copper, zinc, selenium, iron and ferritin) and clinical-chemical parameters in 50 consecutive obstetric patients presenting at delivery departments of local hospitals in these regions. With exception of zinc, mineral status in both Russian and Norwegian centres found to be satisfactory.
