| Abstract: | Senator Svinhufvud was sentenced to exile in Tomsk for duration of war. On return he saw his indebtedness as "with God's and Hindenburg's help". As war continued, he travelled up Ob' to Obdorsk (Salekhard) and in area of Tymskoye and Kolyvan with support from German Lutheran couple Hörschelmann. Frau Höschelmann's diary is main contribution to story apart from Svinhufvud's own account. |
