Abstract: Tests hypothesis that acculturation to 'modern' lifestyle has speeded aging of forced vital capacity (FVC) and forced expiratory volume (FEV1.0) by comparing data obtained from Inuit of Igloolik, northern Canada, with less acculturated nGanasan of northern Siberia.
