| Abstract: | Workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment took place in Tuusula, Finland, in April 1994. Contributions included: evaluations of Norwegian, Danish and Swedish EIA; coal fired plant in North Jutland; water development on middle reaches of Kokemäenjoki and Loimijoki; Swedish experiences; bypass on road linking South and West Norway; Finnish part of East-West E18 trunk road; hydroelectric and geothermal power plants, high voltage lines, gravel quarries, tourist centres in uninhabited areas, disposal of obnoxious waste, metal melting, chemical plants, new roads, railways and airports, and ports for medium and large vessels in Iceland. |
