Record #137370:

A structural-optical model of cold sea ice / Bonnie Light.

Title: A structural-optical model of cold sea ice / Bonnie Light.
Author(s): Light, Bonnie.
Date: 1995.
Publisher: Washington :
Abstract: Finds observed optical properties of laboratory-grown sea ice varied considerably with temperature, responding to changes in scattering produced by brine pockets, air bubbles and precipitated salts. Develops structural-optical model to predict how distribution of inclusions change with temperature, and calculate effect of these changes on inherent optical properties of ice.
Notes:

Unpublished dissertation submitted in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science, University of Washington.
