| Abstract: | Provides synthesis of results of recent research on possible causes of climate warming. Includes research on solar activity, aerosols, concentrations of greenhouse gases, earth orbital parameters and ocean circulation patterns. Notes that decrease of Antarctic and Arctic sea-ice is of order of magnitude predicted by models for global warming, but argues that anthropogenic influence is not proven by this phenomenon, as increase in temperature lies within natural variability range. |
