Abstract: | Marriage with independent Elise lasted three years, and parting was great shock to them and to society. She was determined to be teacher, and took it up again after separation, became Norway's female editor, of "Norge og Amerika", then lived in Texas 50 years, married and had three Waerenskjold sons. She kept careful contacts with Norway, including news of Foyn. |
