Five categories are: extinct, endangered, vulnerable, rare, and needing care. Chapters include: background in world and North, project, measures taken against depletion and extinction, survey of status of threatened species, species and biotopes, recommendations, and base lists. Principle for evaluation is "best status wins", i.e. if unthreatened in one country, species counts as unthreatened. |
